“Off to the Races” featured 21 new works inspired by the 60s cartoon classic, “Wacky Races” and the literal rat race of life.
Everyone’s constantly on the move and relentlessly competing to be better than the next. It can be extremely tiresome when you’re always working hard and have little time for leisure, but in our society, once a higher status is achieved you’re ultimately rewarded, even if you feel burnt out.
We have to find joy in the small things, especially if we want some form of escapism or true happiness, but in the meantime we have to pull ourselves up by the bootstraps and get back to riding.
