“Cherish the Days” My debut solo show opened October 12th, 2018 at LineDot Editions
“Cherish the Days” served as a celebration of nostalgia, imagination, and pride. There are bits and pieces of fun and whimsy throughout each piece and each one has a different story or lesson that is being told. This was my first solo exhibition ever, so I wanted to have some fun and create whatever visual I wanted. The art styles varied from simple to extremely complex and almost chaotic. The color palette is an array of hues and I wanted the entirety of show to almost look like a rainbow.
It brings me back to Lisa Frank folders, early morning cartoons, and cereal.
